I’ve been in many situations and environments with groups of people.  Some of those groups I was a leader, and some I wasn’t.  I’ve been on teams, involved in organizations, and in the military.  I’ve worked with not-for-profits.  The interesting thing throughout all of the experiences was how the people interacted with one another. So, I’ve finally made “the switch”.  From working for someone else to working for myself.  I’ve always “known” that I would.  My grandfather, my stepfather, and my father-in-law are all entrepreneurs.  Growing up around them, helping them, and never hearing them complain about “the man” helped solidify my resolve to be my own boss some day.  Plus the fact that it’s nice making your own rules : )
